GRADUATION INFORMATION To graduate from Purdy High School, a student must have successfully completed the following: 4 credits language arts 3 credits social studies 3 credits science 4 credits math 1 credit fine art 2 credits practical arts 1 credit physical education .5 credits personal finance .5 credits high school health 7 credits electives 26 minimum total credits
All colleges have certain requirements/classes for admission. Do not wait until your senior year to know what these are!!! Start checking your freshman year!!!!!!
Tech. Center Amendment: If a student successfully attends Scott Regional Technology Center just one year, then (s)he will be required to complete 25.5 minimum credits to graduate (the core remains the same; the reduction in credits comes out of the elective credits). If the student attends and passes two years at the technology center, (s)he needs to complete only 25 credits to graduate.
Participation in school activities: A student must remain in good standing and be scheduled for at least six hours each day to remain eligible to play. This requirement is also upheld by academic teams and leadership organizations.
Student Athletes: Please keep in mind that the minimum graduation requirements for a student to graduate from Purdy could be different than those necessary for a student to be able to participate in sports at the collegiate level.
